IPodding a 997

Anyone had any luck with linking in an IPOD to the Bose system?...tried the Ice link, the one that tunes to the radio station, but found that suffers inerference, would like some sort of hard wire connection. Anyone done this or have knowledge?...Thanks
 
I haven't tried it myself but this might be helpful as it is a hard wired solution

and this, which again I don't have though I do have an Alpine head unit etc in another car which works perfectly with the ipod and controls it through the screen in the head unit

If you go back far enough and do a search there are some threads on this If you have any success do let us know, I for one, would be in the market for a solution that works.
 
Hi, just seen your posts.
I joit own "surreycarradio.com", with some other family members, in Camberley, Surrey, ill make some phone calls for you and find out some info.
Is it to plug into a car with the navi unit?
Would it be a prob if you lost the cd changer in place of the ipod?
What age are the cars?
If you let me know the info ill do my best to help.
