Ipod into CDR22 radio

I would like to couple in my Ipod Nano to the Becker radio CD player in my 993.
I do not want to have a load of after market kit on show. To this end I bought a wired connector from Incartec which I hoped would solve the problem. Unfortunately this particular Becker unit does not have an AUX connector and the unit will not recognise the Ipod through the CD changer socket.
Question. Has anybody tried this and is there a way in which the Becker CD multichanger socket can be fooled into accepting the Ipod.

Hi,

There are several units that will fool the Becker into thinking that the Ipod is a CD multichanger

If you do a search for IPod you should find several recommendations (search for a specified time period)

There is actually an Aux input to the Becker, but you have to enable it.

How to active the "AUX" on Porsche radios with "TP" button (i.e CR-220, CDR-22)

1. Turn radio ON Press and hold the "TP" button for about 8 seconds until Becker 1 is displayed. Turn the Tuning Knob until AUX OFF is displayed. Press either button located directly under the Arrows on the display to change the present setting from OFF to ON. Turn radio OFF. Auxiliary Audio Input has now been activated.

I did this at the weekend on my car. I had CD Prep installed, which meant I had the 2 phono plugs necessary, and just needed a £1 phono-to 3.5mm stereo converter to get it working.
Now I plan to run an extension lead in to the passenger compartment and position the ipod somewhere suitable.[8D]

Thanks to all for your responses.
Unfortunately I gave the wrong type for my unit, it is a Becker CDR21 and when you hold down the TP button, no matter for how long, all you get is TP or not.
You push the S button to select frequency's or CD and all it says is No CD and then returns to a radio frequency.
I think, perhaps, that I need to connect two of the terminals in the CD socket on the back when I plug in the Incartec plug to fool the unit into thinking it has a multiple CD changer connected.
Any further idea's appreciated.
