Hi all,

Just introducing myself. I've just bought my first porsche ( a 944 S ) and wanted to say hello. I live in Wiltshire and will use Steve Bull to do all the oily jobs that I don't want to do or just can't do.

Simon

Hi Simon congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the vest 944 forum around
Steve Bull has a good reputation , but you can also get lots of help here.

Hello and welcome Simon - You've come to the right place as this forum is a friendly mine of information ! Oh and pictures are required of your new purchase [;)]

Welcome Simon and congratulations on your purchase!

This is a great forum and very helpful, an example today was the replacement of my gear lever to cure my slack shift, a job that I thought was difficult and expensive, turns out to be ÂŁ39 and 25 minutes with the help, support, cajoling and light abuse this forum provides[:D]

Hi David,

I'm in Pewsey! Pewsey to Calne.. 20 mins?

About that. I had an S first and liked it. Sadly it got a bit slow....
It's a slippery slope.

Hi Simon, well done on joining the 944 gang! This forum is a god send.

But Pewsey to Calne, 20 minutes? In a Morris Minor maybe, but its a lovely 944 stretch of road which should be rendered in less than that, surely?? Gentlemen, start your engines!

Hi,

Took this on Saturday.

Simon

Almost identical to my old one, E plate in grey. Hope you enjoy it.
Make sure the cam chain has been checked/replaced or it could all go horribly wrong!
If I come your way I'll drop you a line
David
