Interior Lights

As the evenings are getting darker earlier I have been driving my Turbo S a little more in the dark and have noticed the interior is quite bright, in fact a little over illuminated for me.

The main light that seems to keep the interior bright seems to be just in front of the rear view mirror, not the reading lamps to each the side but a small LED in the middle. My car has the ambient light pack and no matter what I adjust, either colors (which doesn't change this LED), intensity or even the main car interior illumination setting, this LED doesn't seem to dim at all.

Am I missing something or is this just normal for a 992 interior?

If your missing it then so am I. I've resorted to a manual fix, involving a very small piece of black electrical tape over the bulb. You cant see the tape, and neither can you see the bulb so works at the moment but probably not the ideal fix! :ROFLMAO:

Now I have illumination from the ambient lights, in the color i want, but not the white downlight illuminating the whole car

Yes I have tried that and even at 0% the light in front of the mirror is still too bright. Ive turned everything down to 0% including the ambient lights and its still bright. The only other thing could be mine is stuck ‘on’
