Interior light

New member
Main interior light not working in my 53 Cayenne S. Replaced the bulb as you would but nothing. Fuses are fine (and the other interior lights work). Is there anything special about them??? Cant believe Im posting a question about something so trivial - but one notch better than sticking it into the garage!!
 
Hi,

This is the problem with all Cayenne interior lights.
Take out the center light switch console from the roof. Check the black plastic wall at the slide. The heat(wiring heat) is smelting the plastic.
You can fix it if put something(little piece of metal) into it. BUT You maybe have to do it few time in a year!
