Interior light package

my glove box light does not work nor do my vanity mirror lights, when I googled it, it mentions this is part of the light package, so I’m not sure if I have this or not, but would be confused to think my sunvisors have lights in them but not activated to work.
Is there any way I can identify if my car has this package , foot well lights work, aswell as boot and front trunk light, so do not think it’s a fuse .
Any help would be appreciated

Hi Andy,

Unfortunately I can’t answer your question directly, but looking online it seems that the Light Design Package for your 718 Boxster adds dimmable LED interior lighting to key areas of the cabin which can be set via the PCM/overhead controls if you want to look there to see if you have the option.
If you don’t have access to the fuse layouts in the boxes on both sides of the car have a look on here, although I couldn’t find any specific fuse or fuses for the glove box or sun visors:

The 40A C2 fuse on the driver’s side box includes the footwell lights and the 15A B4 fuse the interior lighting. Also I’d be surprised if the glove box light isn’t a standard feature, so maybe it’s just that the light has blown?

ask your OPC for the build spec - or try somewhere like vinanalytics.com ( yes it costs, but it's a nicely formatted report that makes a nice addition to the paperwork file) -then you can see if what options the car was ordered with.
