Indicator alert

Silly question perhaps but does your indicator unit make a noise. Mine doesn't and sometimes I don't notice that I'm still indicating. Is it likely that the noise element of the unit failed? If so where is the unit and is it just plug out and plug in?

Any advice welcomed.

Hi andrew,

Mine is very quiet also. I think its just the way they are. You have to remember to cancel once round the corner.

hope this is of help

regards

Yes it does as if they are all like that then that's the way it is.

I am aware of the issue and I do try to check and cancel but sometimes......

yeah tell me about it, I one drove pretty much the whole length of the M1 indicating right, much to the annoyance of other drivers i'm sure !!

Taught me to check though

regards

...I must be weird. I much prefer the quiet indicators Porsche fit on the 993 (same on my 968 and ex-944). I find indicators on most other cars irritatingly intrusive! Given we've switched them on, have self-cancelling and flashing lights on the dash, I can definitely live without the audible alert as well.

This unit has a delay that can be set by the user.
