Recently purchased a 993 and wondered if any members can recommend a good independent service centre that they are happy with

I'm not too far from Nottingham, Leicester or peterborough

After someone who will hopefully offer good advice not just look to empty my wallet!!

Thanks

I know Tom Fisher has his car serviced at Zentrum and others in the Speed Championship. How good they are with air cooled cars I don't know.

You might get a better response by posting this question on the R8 section.

Welcome to the world of 993's, I hope you are enjoying it.

Finding the best person to look after your pride and joy will be your greatest challenge, some well recommended indy's don't suit everyone, I use 911 Sport in Horncastle, it's not too far from you and there are some great roads to get there.

The best advice I can give is to do your homework on the Internet and then pay them a visit to get a feel for them before handing over your car.

Hope this helps

I fully agree with that though. A 993 needs an experienced Porsche expert - getting the wrong garage may cause you and your 993 trouble.

Anyway, congratulations for your 993, it is a great car :)
