Improving Bi-Xenon PDLS lights?

Hello fellow Macan'ers :)

I've got a nice Jet Black metallic Macan S that I bought last October, its a 2017 model with black bi-xenon PDLS lights.

The lights are atrocious at night  bordering on dangerous.
The beam aim is so low - which I am about to adjust if I get chance the next couple of weekends.

I think its just the allen key fittings that I need to adjust clockwise/anticlockwise on top of the headlights under the bonnet?

Also, I have an 'odd' xenon bulb.
Drivers side is quite blue, but passenger side is quite yellow.
I am under the assumption that the drivers side failed and just a single bulb was replaced by the previous owner, and its not the same manufacturer as the passenger side.
Does this sound right, genuine Porsche bulbs from new a bit yellowy for a xenon?

Any recommendations of what pair of bulbs to go for which look nice and perform well?
Don't know if anyone has tried the retrofit Philips Led bulbs? Or if they flicker or need extra resistors etc?
Possible straight forward upgrade would be Osram Nightbreakers.
Or should I just go for a single bulb to match the oem one?

Welcome any suggestions

Thanks all

Upgrade to LED if you can, but check the current lens pattern and software are compatible. Otherwise, replace both sides with Porsche lamps using your Club discount, of course. 👍🏼
Regards.

No personal experience but here's a link that will shed some light on the issue (Sorry!):
In the 3rd post in there there's another link that leads to a plethora of info including YouTube videos. Good Luck!

We got some LED replacement bulbs for the Xenon bulbs in my wife's Lupo GTI from Xenons Online. They were very helpful and knowledgeable and the bulbs work very well; a straight replacement for the original Xenons.

I'm not so sure that LEDs will improve matters as the light pattern is determined by the reflector shell and lens.

Also not sure OSRAM nightbreaker (haleogen) lamps are a replacement for bi-xenons?

Osram do a Nightbreaker D3s Xenon/HID bulb (y)

The make of bulb doesn't bother me too much I just want a pair that are the same colour! 😅

Just wondering if anyone had replaced them for anything substantially better than OEM

Like I say, lifting the beam up will help tremendously when I get time
