It says that they're now taking orders!

In that case can I order them to step away from Porsches altogether.

Seems the 924 lightweight with the snakes all over it is still for sale. Surprising really I thought an enthusiast would have snapped that up [:D]

It's not just a car for sale if you read the blurb; it's a service to make your 924 look like that. Supposedly with an amount of rebuild and mechanical work as well, and some new upholstery.

I ain't defending it - it's nasty - but it's not quite what it appears to be at first sight.

Ed, I will be making a new set of PC windows this Spring (or maybe sooner). If youd like me to cut you a set then let me know. In the past Ive used 4mm polycarbonate and used them unformed. The rears fit easily as-cut and even the dearest Margard coated PC still spoils very quickly when lifted and lowed a few times, so theyre best fixed in place for which flat sheet is perfectly adequate.

Simon

Thanks for the offer Simon - to be honest it's not really worth doing on my car. I'd prefer to keep the glass and keep the noise down. I'm very happy with the current spec and limited NVH - still quite acceptable for long UK and European trips.

Hi Simon, I'll take a set of rears to replace my glass ones please. Was thinking of making my own but always easier if someone else has done it before.

Took the polycarbonate fronts out as I do need them to open and they are unformed so if you open them whilst driving it takes two hands to get them closed - oops!

I would have dropped these off, but Im sure that theyll be durable enough to post.

I always read your posts in a Geordie accent... [:D]

Thanks Simon.

Sorry to burst your bubble but born in Greater Manchester, moved to Yorkshire and now Newcastle.

I have a "generic northern" accent ;)

I've edited the "from" bit in my profile to remind you!

I cant help it. You plainly werent a Geordie on the cooking programme either, but I still read that in a Big Brother voiceover Smoggy accent...
