illegal clocking

ORIGINAL: Copperman05

Could it be that the original mileage quoted is incorrect? A typo? TBO without speaking to the dealer/seller first anything else is just assumption and speculation.

I hope there turns out to be a reasonable explanation for you.

Edd
i so wish that was the case but its a very deliberate the current mileage reads.....
Clearly its 27 years old and even if it had 140k i would have bought it. Might just put this down to experience and just enjoy my new toy annoying as it is, this is the world of classic cars and i always buy on condition rather than mileage. The car is strong in all areas and in fantastic condition for an 86 car.
Still. Might send him a copy of the 2 adverts and ask for comments, just to make him shudder for a moment or two!

That is the best thing to do and leave it at that. That way he may always think that he'll get a knock on the door one day!

So Pauly, can u test my 900k miles 993 for me as I've just spent £9.10 on her and see if she drives like yours [;)] haha. Or maybe I shud save my money and wind the clock back and make 110k!!!'
Time To find me a 944
