After spending four years lurking in the 911(991) forums, I can announce that the Range Rover is no more (Bit of a love/hate thing going on there) and I have just paid for a MY2017 Cayenne S Diesel which I collect from OPC Silverstone next weekend.

Looking forward to it as I've not actually driven this car but have driven a couple of other 958's and I've had that V8 diesel in my old 2011 A8.

Here's hoping our hopeless Golden Retriever will actually get into this one without me having to lift the 40kg bugger up.. [:D]
 
I'm close to putting a deposit on a 2013 Cayenne after owning a few nice cars, including a Range Rover. Was definitely more hate than love with the Range Rover Sport.

Looking forward to my first ever Porsche!

You'll love it. For an oil burner it's one hell of a motor. Don't know what spec you've got but air suspension with lowering function would help get the dog in [:)]

I have it and it should, only now he's terrified of the power assisted hatch (Arrrgh! Spooky!) so is now frightened of the car. Typical.
 
Enjoy it, I have an S diesel as well and it's a brilliant all round car. The dog is perfectly happy bumbling around in the boot and it tows my horse trailer extremely well, smooth ride for the horse.
 
I do, although her ladyship has somewhat stolen it, so I bought a Porsche and got a Mini (albeit a very cool one).
Do you have a dog guard? I already have a custom boot liner but I'm always a bit worried about an airborne 38Kg Golden Retriever...
