I bought some s/h KWv3 suspension...

The tart in me wants to go against all I hold holy, and buy some Veloce split look rims!Non standard and all!!!
That kind of wheel does look nice though....

I can do you some lovely 17"" splits Mark ;) (well they will be nice once they are refurbed...)

Ollie I could not belive how straight your sons car was underneath. It must be the salt on the roads up here.I had to remove and completely remake mine.I tried to do it in such a way as to minimise the amount of crap traps in there. When you look at it fro underneath it is all now basically smooth.I put alot of strengthening in there to make it stronger than origional but lost the jack points etc and ran a cover over the whole lot .I will take a couple of pictures and put them on when I get a chance.
My idea was to make the suspension hanger and surrounding area strong and rust trap free.

We choose this 951 project just because body was in great shape. We had few other candidates available, but since this one was in "excellent condition" we went for it. It also helped a bit when previous owner had paid all import taxes few years earlier.... Basically we got this (look picture) when we gave the previous owner a pair of Brembo monoblock brake calipers.

It looked like this when we saw it first time.

I am willing to do all kind of car repairs, but fixing rust damage is not my favourite business.

I have a Seat splitter in my garage roof doing nothing. It has a couple of mounting holes in it where I had it fitted before I went to the Ess one.
If anyone wants it if they cover the postage or come and fetch it (central wilts) you can have it.
