By the way are you keeping the front spoiler? or do you know who sells them? I like that too. Anyone got any furry dice going spare?

Ed - your PM box is full.
I tried to send an email last night from my iPhone with a load of pics attached but it isn't showing in my sent folder.
Can you let me know if you've got it or not and I can resend from a proper computer if necessary?
Thanks, David
I got your email - if there are more pics its probably easier to host on Picasa or Photobucket and send me a link. (and my pm box only had 20 messages in - can't see why that would be full?)

Does anyone know who makes those wheels nowadays? I know it seems a bit cheeky but you can probably get a new set for close to the cost of a refurb
I don't think you can buy them any more.
They were made by eta beta. They also did a 17" cup 3 style split rim. (there is a freshly refurbed set of those on ph for £1700!)
I think the wheels are very rare, and also coveted by the vw/audi fraternity. It took me quite a while to find out what they are.
I am looking at cheaper refurb options. I washed the wheels yesterday, and the centres are still in good shape. There may be an opportunity to just fix and polish the rims. When I have confirmed this I will price them up to sell. I am waiting for a local firm to get back to me. A Glasgow based chap quoted me IRO 300 for this. Of course if anyone want to change colours, powdercoat etc. then they will have to come apart.
Pic of the rusty suspension mount (Don't worry, I knew about this before I bought it...)
I finally start to understand, why i buy so much used 951/S2 parts from UK...... [
You hardly never see a rusty 944 up here.
Here's the same spot on son's project 951. We just had to clean it and put some new paint on it.

...just wait until you see the engine bay - that's a real horror show! (saving that pic for the project thread)

Joss (and anyone else who might be interested)
I've managed to get some much better prices for refurb - and also some suggestions on sale price
So
As is - fitted with almost new Nexen (I know, I know [8|] - although they were fine in pretty wet conditions on the M5 driving back from Devon) tyres - £500
Plus Rims straightened, refurbed and polished - £750
Plus centres powdercoated (to a colour of your choice..) - £1050
I think this way if someone thinks they can get them done cheaper, they are welcome to have a go...
I will be sticking them up on pistonheads for slightly more (after I get them off the car & take some more pics....)

If you still have them around my birthday (November - so I guess you hope they'll go before then) I'll check in again
BTW you might want to stick a photo and for sale ad on the 964 forum, its not very busy over there but your wheels remind me of Speedlines and plenty people want those on their 911s
Good luck!

Not sure about that splitter, but a few years ago several guys put a hot Seat (cant remember which one) splitter on - looked good, was pretty cheap and fitted quite easily.
Tony Foote fitted one, it was a very cheap option when you see the number of expensive splitters that have been caught out at events in fields! [&o]
