hi guys , I’m removing my cam tower soon to fix a dodgy lifter and I’m thinking of buying and fitting a adjustable cam gear to aid in tunning the motor as I’ve done a fair bit of change to the internals now, and it’s goung in this year for a professional tune so I thought it would help get the best out of the timing?

just wondered if anyone had one and do you find them wirth the money?

ive always panicked about the bolts not holding position but I would!

thanks
Daniel ??

Considering valve overlap it isn't an area I would want to fiddle. Over the years there have been some massive power hikes on 944's and I don't recall any of them resorting to an adjustable cam gear.

If there is such a thing I would assume you could get it from Lindsey Racing.

Thanks John it looks like this could be a waste of hard earned money so I’ll leave it I think ??

thanks

They look nice but then it gets covered up!

I fitted one on my 2.7 N/A but then once it was set, the mapper changed the rest...
A Change of Camshaft will reap better performance......
