How many left running.....

Mike,
I agree your hunch that the remaining 944 numbers are less than 30%, it will be interesting to see what you come up with when you talk to them.
The clock subject is certainly a good one, I will be your first customer if you find a circa' £40 exchange service. Top marks for trying and picking a useful subject.
Now, the opportunity to get a message to "them" [:)] - I am afraid they have become a company who do things by halves, though I am sorry to say so.

If you want a list of Customer Feedback topic suggestions, tell them as a long time fan of the marque, I'd like to see :
Proper 200k mile unburstable engines that dont leak oil
A warranty - (one which covers faults) - you may need to explain "c o v e r" and "f a u l t s"
Motorsport involvement (rallying and endurance racing)
Bling, - cut the crested headrests, LED lights, stupid big wheels, and stick to dry sumps, ali panels, thin glass and Ltd Slip Diffs.
Oh, and let Mercedes make the big saloons, Totota the big 4x4's and get back to Sportscars so that Nissan dont take over the Engineering lead in the industry permanently.

Well so far all worthy topics to add to my agenda (I've only got about 3hrs though !! [:(])

Wolfie: I also assume that the source of this info is the DVLA (via SMMT) but as there was no acknowledgement accompanying the data it must remain an assuption - I will try and get some clarity on Wednesday
