How is the Turbo Secured?

Im replacing the outlet pipe (originally because of a sheared stud) and I have bought a 3" replacement from Haywood and Scott. I have managed to remove the old pipe without stripping out the turbo but to fit the new one I have no chocie but to move the turbo.

I'd prefer to just unbolt it with pipework still attached so I could just move it around to help with clearance but I don't know if that will be possible.
 
Well done for getting the old one off without removing the Turbo, it's really tight in there.

It was a right pain I can assure you, thank you for the link I think it gives me enough insight to free it off enough to slide the new pipe on.

Reaching the 2 bolts from below after removing the heat shield is not really difficult... if you don't have A/C.
 
Make sure you follow Clark's properly and wake up the bolts (American speak). That means a good few blows with a hammer on the end of the 2 foot extension that you will need lol. The last thing you want to do is round out the 2 allen head bolts holding it on. That would be a disaster. I can't think of anything else short of engine out that would sort that [:eek:]

Dont talk it up Rob I have had plenty of sheared bolts as it is[:(]
