How is everyone doing?

It's one of those easy press headlines to come out with on the daily government news briefing and quite another to amend software on web sites and get hundreds of organisations lined up behind the intent of the announcement. My initial take on the announcement was that it was a universal application so I am glad that I popped in to my local garage for petrol and got talking to the owner. I am going to wait and see what happens with the lockdown in a couple of weeks time. We aren't in the "at risk" category but have a couple of cars that could be laid up if it's going to drag on. But as Motorhead's post says, there will be something to look forward to and to realise just how blessed we all are to have the cars to enjoy, people we want to meet and places we want to go to, and maybe some of those drives, meetings and visits won't get put off to some date far in to the future as we know now that we don't know what is around the corner.

I just came back from my weekly shopping and the roads are kind of empty and God, it feels good to drive it again!
Thanks for the MOT info Paul and Jeff, I booked the car for the 6th of May at Silverstone, I'll let you know if they will take cars, but it's good I will have 6 more months to do it.

and also, Hi Nick from London, let's hope we can go soon to invade your streets.

Nice to hear you all are doing well.

Manuel

Thanks all, hopefully we'll all get to invade each others regions soon.

In the meantime, and if you are able I would suggest signing up to the NHS or local police volunteers.

Keep safe,

Nick
