It's a newly built out and out race car ( only used for sprints and hillclimbs )
It's a 968 shell with most of the other gear from my 944 fitted onto it.
2.5 16v engine
Full cage
Full GAZ suspension front and rear
Car corner weighted, 980Kg's
Running 15" wheels
Brakes, Hubs etc replaced
Interior fully stripped out
Seats / Harness in date
exterior bits:-
No lights front or rear
Fibreglass wings, bonnet, front and rear PU's
car set up and dyno at Hi Tec @ 205 RWHP
When it comes to slicks ?
Radial or crossply ?
Make ?
Compound ?
Any info will be useful
Thanks
205RWHP - that's VERY good from an S engine. What have you had done to it?
Oli.
Started the race season this year with a 944 that had that engine in it (more about that in a minute)
The car went off big time at Loton Park and the chassis couldn't be straightened, so it was scrapped.
so got hold of the bare 968 shell and built a new car using some bits from the old one
the engine has been re-built (not by me) steel liners etc, it's running an 8v ecu with an evolution chip.
It's got a fairly flat torque curve from about 2700 - 5700
That's about it really
