I have a Gen 1 Cayman S and the high level brake light gasket has fallen down on the top right hand corner.
The previous owner had it re-positioned and I had Porsche in Bristol re-position it again just after purchasing in March 2012.
Now a year on it has fallen down again. At the last re-fit the dealer suggested re-placing the light unit to cure but that seems a bit drastic and expensive to me.
I could pay £30.0 plus for them to re-position it again but of course this doesn't solve the problem long term.
My question Is this how easy is it to get the light in & out and then can I glue the gasket back it. The car is under Porsche second hand warranty but of course this won't be covered.
With the gasket down any internal moisture runs into the light recess staining the glass which you can't then clean so I would like to sort it out.
