=Rick Horvath: Why not have the 356, 912 & 914 Registers get together and hold a 'Flat Four Fest' at Cornbury House? If the club can have a Front Runner event
then why not have a gathering of vintage Porsche's of the 4 cylinder air-cooled variety. IMHO the club really does need to offer more support to the air-cooled boxer four engined cars as they are the bedrock of what Porsche is today in both the Automotive and classic car world.

now i was going to add to the bottom of my post "no excuses" but, i guess being in oz is a pretty good one[:D]
and i'm jealous, never been but it is one place i would love to visit one day

phil,
i thought making it just a 4 cylinder day might be a little restricting (besides might have to bring a the sporto myself) so i have changed the title and called it a Heritage day

i wonder if a few of the specialists (eg Forest fine,Roger Brey) would be interested in coming along ? i had better have a chat with Peter Cook

no chance it could be the weekend before!
i very much doubt it as the place is only open one sunday a month....not worth me even asking as it'll be no just cos it was me that asked...Fred,Phil,Gav,Bruce (the R/Ss) might have better luck?

ARRRR now Geoff Ives if I remeber said that if we did the Flat 4 day he would be happy to go down and open up... ( now this is from my memory and I guess also it could be checked in the old posts bit... if it has not been prooned.. ) but I can email Geoff or wait till he comes on and reads this..

He seamed keen to do a flat 4 day.. in Feb / March.. when it was talked about before and I think it would be a great new annual event.. plus I could pay my subs [:D]
