Help required- Pics needed. Those with cup pipe

Gents. I need some pics of the clearance between the oil line that runs nearest to the cup pipe. This oil line is the one that drops down vertically from the oil filter console. Also pics of how your cup pipe sits on it's hanger would be useful. Probably the best way to get any of this is with a mobile pointed in an approximate direction. Unless your keen enough to lay on your back peering underneath!
Mine appears to be touching or almost where it crosses over the pipe, just want to see how close others are.
Thanks in advance

When I had my cup pipe fitted it was positioned in pretty much the same place as the silencer it replaced. There is space to get a finger between the oil pipe and the flange that joins the cup pipe to the final silencer. Hopefully this pic will help:

Thanks for the pic Steve that was sort of what i wanted. On mine there is a tang or piece of metal that sits on top of the hanger on the cup pipe. If the pipe is allowed to sit this way the pipe fouls the oil line. Making me think the cup pipe hanger brackets are slightly out on the cup pipe. A think some gentle manipulation of the cup pipe bracket is going to be required.

My cup pipe isnt on the car at the moment, but I can say that the brackets need coaxing to make it fit. Out of interest, and assuming you are still on for spa, are you sure that the car will get past noise? I forget what spa is but my car with cup pipe was always about 105-106?. I know Spa is tougher on sound than it used to be.

As it happens, my car with a cat bypass and standard everything else was 101 at Oulton - noisy!

Thanks - and thanks for the pics, just been going through them. You should have come and said hello, we'd have been happy to take you out.

I have run my car with this set up at spa for a number of years but admittedly not in the last three years so maybe things have changed. Last noise test it passed was a brands , so below 105 . The car is, apart from the exhaust issue and the small matter of completing the running in, all ready for Spa. It sailed through the MOT with the only hiccup being the old fuel giving me a fright at the emissions test ( brief spirited, but not too spirited drive cured that). Unfortunately there is a family issue that might well have far more influence in me getting to Spa. Having to think very deeply about it.

I'm sure you know what you are doing Laurence with the exhaust system, just thought I'd mention it. Hope all the more important stuff works itself out.
