I seem to recall I had something similar once, and ended up having to leave the door handle slightly loose...
I have seen interior handles where the hook on the end of the cable has come away from the interior handle - so it might be worth removing the internal escutcheon, and seeing if it has become disconnected, and seeing if just pulling the cable doesn't open the door...
Just a thought, and sorry to ask the blindingly obvious, but sometimes the obvious is missed, the door isn't locked is it?

Lol Iv done some stupid things before but never tried opening a locked door but this could be the first
Ill check again later.
Iv got myself a old bucket handle straightened out I'm guna have a fish around later fingers crossed I can get this door open
