help ! no warm idle

ok , guys need a bit of help here if yoy can , dads car is a 1988 930 targa .......... will start fine from cold ........ idles fine cold , drives fine when warm but will not idle at all once it warms up .....after couple of minutes.

I've checked the aux bypass valve seems ok and operational .......car was running fine up until this happened last week !

if i disconnect the warm up regulator electrical conenction then it will idle warm ........when i plug it back in it starts to die again ? ........ becoming too rich ? can't figure out why thou , impedance accross contacts is aroudn 25ohms which i think is ok.

any ideas ?
