Hi,
I am trying replace the seals on my rear quarter glass on my 993, I am using genuine Porsche seals. They came out easy enough but new seals are proving tricky to get in and sit flush.
I tried twice today, both times lubed up with soap and using a string in the gutter that fits on the body lip. I started at the B pillar, got that aligned and then made my way through to the back where the tight pinch point at the C pillar is. Getting the seal seated on the lip was easy enough but it wont align at the top edge, the seal is tilting inwards on the outer edge so I have a gap around the glass, I've tried to correct using a plastic trim tool but no amount of messing about wiil get the seal to sit flush.
Any advice on how to do this? I've read some say start at B pillar and some say start at the very rear point on C pillar.
