The recent survey was very well supported by R7 members, several areas were highlighted where the coordinators group (CoG) could help in addressing problems.

7.5% of members who responded reported that they did not receive newsletter subscriptions, it also became apparent that the private messages can initially be difficult to locate, the new forum has eased that process considerably.

Firstly, you must LOG IN with your name and password, you will then have a screen similar to this.

From this screen, either click on "Community"

...or hover your cursor over the "Community" button to bring out a dropdown menu, then move your cursor to "Forum" area and click on that.

If you clicked on the "Community" button, this page will have loaded: Click on "Forum"

From the "Forum" page, hover over the "Forum" button to open another dropdown menu, this has an option to Read and send PMs, move your cursor over to "Private messages" and click that

The PMs page will open up.

This seems very simple to navigate, in this version, there is no need to tick a box to save PMs as they will automatically do so.

It seems we no longer automatically receive an email if someone sends a PM to us, to enable this option you will need to open the "Forum settings" box

Click on the "Forum settings"

In "Preferences" tick the box to receive an email when a new conversation message is received

For the mail notification subscription options, from the "My Profile" button, click on "EDIT MY PROFILE"

Scroll down to contact preferences, from here you can edit which regions and registers you wish to receive communications from.

I hope this all made sense.

We are being asked to use the club ticketing facility wherever possible within our R7 events program, this is a simple one page instruction on where to find your tickets.

Make sure you are logged into the Porsche Club GB website, https://www.porscheclubgb.com/

where are my tickets.jpg

The pdf file is larger if you wish to read that.
