Help identifying the specific model of 911 from a photo

Cheers for letting me know. If anyone knows him and does happen to speak to him it’d be much appreciated if you let him know he really inspired me to get interested in Porsche and whilst not having the finance so far to acquire some of the more exotic models I’m hugely enjoying the 911 I do have and the Porsche club and the road rallies etc thanks to that great day out in his cars

Ian,

Just a thought but if you’re finding it difficult to contact Ricky you could try approaching the 924 Carrera GT Technical Advisor Alan Bradshaw on porsche924cgt@outlook.com who I’m sure will have Ricky’s ear.

Nice one I’ll give that a go thanks Jeff

An update on this, the club kindly passed on Ricky’s phone number and we had a nice chat this morning about that day and the cars and organising a meet up in the future. An amazing result from a query about one car resulting in contact with the person who made it possible!

for some extra background on that day I went out in Ricky’s dark blue 930, 924 carrera GT as well as the black 930 (which instigated the query) and 911 SC RS which were owned by a gentleman I don’t have the name of unfortunately (Ricky said it but I didn’t get it down and unfortunately my grandfather has passed away) (a close friend of my grandfather and also Ricky) who owned the whole property where they were all stored and driven.

Thanks again to everyone who replied! This feels like a nice story for Porsche post lol
