Hi I have owned for 20 years what I understand to be a 1986 930 3.3 Turbo however by specifications changes between 84 / 85 and 86 and I am looking for help to confirm exactly the age of my 930 for an attempt to try prove to the DVLA and to put an age related plate back on the car which I am not sure is even possible?
i guess my question is, is there a difinitive list of changes in spec to the 930 evolution from year to year available, for such items right down to the increased diameter of tie rods etc.
thank you in advance for any help you my be able to offer.
Harvey

Get at COA from Porsche Cars Reading.

Free for PCGB members,[:D] I think it cost £60.00 for non members.

Provided that it is a UK car, the categoric way as John says is to get a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche Cars GB.
That will give you the exact build spec of the car, and when delivered to which dealer in the UK.
With that official information you shouldn't have any subsequent difficulty with DVLA.
