Hello all,
I've been on here about 6 months now - keep meaning to introduce myself properly and put up a few pics of the car. It's known to the forum. I bought it from James Ball. He bought it from Mas also on here. I looked at a few but this was the only Turbo I tried. It was the first car that ticked all my boxes. Good history - with most of the big jobs done. Just felt right and while not in concourse condition, it seems to me a nice solid car. Someone told me nice people sell nice cars and I could tell it was a good one.
I bought it with some known faults - needed a steering rack recon. Lots of messing around with that but I now have a leak free unit thanks to the forum. Also needed new belts so I've had that done. Other than that - there are a few things still to sort - Oil cooler housing leak - still plucking up the courage to do that myself but will hopefully sort that soon.
Anyway - thanks for all the help so far - I'm sure I'll be bugging you all a lot more in the near future. I am absolutely loving the car - I sold a Honda CBR900rr to buy it. Was finding I couldn't justify getting out on the bike by myself with a young family at home. Now the whole family fits in the car (slight squeeze as our 2yr old's seat will only fit in the front so my very understanding wife has to go in the back)[
] Soon our 2 yr old will fit in the back though..
