Newby from NE Scotland.
Bought my first Porsche last month, went to Tewkesbury for it so a decent round trip.
Been many years talking about it but you only live once so bit the bullet and bought a C4S.
Really liking the car which exceeds expectations.
Have a few VW Golfs as daily's.

Hi, did same 3yrs back. Dundee to tewkesbury for my first. Good dealer. Great drive through the night on a virtually empty M74!

Thanks,
They organised me a hire car, I drove it down and collected the 911 on a Saturday morning. Cruised up the road at 75, used 3/4 tank to Hamilton so was impressed with the fuel economy. Car is fantastic.
I was born in Dundee, brought up in Craigiebank, moved to Montrose many moons ago now.

Hey Lou, welcome to the club! (Caitlin of Caitlin & George, your R2 RO's)
We hope that you very much enjoy your C4S, both out on your own, as well as hopefully at a few club events!

We are in Kirriemuir, so like us, you'll be well placed to have your pick of drives and events.
Get in touch if you have any questions!

See you on the road! [s1][:)]

I`m a bit late to the welcome party, but welcome to the forum and more importantly to Porsche ownership. Good to read that you are enjoying your C4S, long may that continue...ENJOY (-:

Thank you all.

I did have a slight issue with the car although not mechanically
There were marks on the paint and mid sunroof glass panel which looked like duct tape residue but it was under the paint and glass, strange really. I questioned this and requested Glasgow centre as Tewkesbury is obviously to far. Glasgow refused warranty but Tewkesbury paid the bill.

It turns out the marks were sweat marks from moisture generated from a cover, it's all removed now and car is looking mint again, they used a heat gun to remove.

Good to read that you were able to resolve the issue on the paintwork of your C4S, Happy days. (-: A pal of mine covered his 911 using a plastic sheet while stored in his garage, which brought it out in a rash of pimples in paces, fortunately the pimples disappeared as mysteriously as they had appeared once the car was taken out of storage and put back into use. Needless to say he did not use that cover again, I think covers need to be of breathable fabric, though don`t know for sure.
