Heater relay

I've recently bought a 944 S2 and have a problem with the heater being on permanently, I've done some research and learned that the clips break on the heater control rods. I checked this and sure enough mine have broken, however I lashed it back together temporary and despite what ever I did with the controls I couldn't switch the heat off. I then discovered that a relay was missing from the fuse box. The relay is identified as G19. Problem is, not knowing what it looks like how do I know what to ask for as a replacement. The location of this relay when viewed from the N/S wing is the top left hand corner.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

One problem is that all the fuseboxes are different, depending on year, options etc.
Will check mine to see what type of relay it is.
If you look at a diagram it should show the pin numbers in very small print. These are standard and with them an autoelectrician or spares shop can match the nos to the right relay.

Pins are numbered 85, 86, 87, 87a and 30, which I believe is about the most common type, any shop selling car relays will have one.

Thank you all for the advice, I will take a look armed with my magnifying glass. I have asked myself why it is missing and come up with a possible conclusion that it was removed in the winter months so as to get heat in the car. Whether that's right or not I'm not likely to find out until I fit a relay and find out.

Yes and I had to drive it from Glasgow to North Wales on a very hot day, imagine the journey I had, and to make things more interesting unbeknown to me the previous owner had used cream boot polish on the seats, which by the time I got home was all over my white T shirt.
