Hi there im having a little trouble finding anything on the search to get a clear answer.
My heater blows on all speeds and recirculates etc but i have no control over the temperature.
I have tried a different control panel as i had a spare and was easy enough. So i am thinking it may be the control valve is broken. Is this the case or is there anything else i should look for.

I had the same problem in summer ! and it was the actual temp control knob so replaced the whole of the heater control unit , don't think they can be repaired.

I have a new front plate if needed luckily
And which clip would be broken as im looking on clarkes garge and its shows a linkage inside the cabin?

Pull the fuse for the glovebox light and take the liner out. There's a small metal rod that will be flapping loose. Plastic clip and metal retainer are around a £ from a PC. You can tape it up as a temp fix.

If you do a search there are pics and part number, don't have them on my phone.

Also check that the vacuum line hose that goes to a small blue/black valve situated around the bulkhead is in place, if it is the aforementioned clip and retainer both bits are about £1.50 from your local Porsche Centre (OPC)

Gaffer tape repair, works well as it's still flexible, but won't last for ever.

And the clip and it's retainer:

Cheers everyone ordered all the parts and thought id replace the hoses as well while im at it. Just got to last till the weekend now.
Thanks for the info all

My heater only blows fully hot or fully cold, it has no middle ground! Could this be the same clip, or would that leave me with hot air only?
