Hi

Warm the 968 up on the cold mornings but the air to the screen stays cold until the car is moving, its then really hot until the car stops again!

Any ideas, its always worked fine until a couple of weeks ago?

Thanks
Karl

Air in the system, coolant level, as suggested, or rarely the waterpump impeller spinning on the shaft. I've seen both of the first two cause this, and fixing it curing get the heater problem.

As the boys say. It's either low on coolant, has air in the system or you have a circulation issue, defective impellor on pump maybe?

Classic cooling system needs bleeding. Water pump is filling the void in the matrix under revs but not at idle.

The level will show full and still be full of air voids. They are nasty buggers to bleed properly. Clarks has a pretty good guide for it.

Thanks for all the reply's

New Red fluid installed & heater is now hot whilst stationary

Regards

Karl
