Headlamp washer pump

It's not high on the list of priorities but it just iritates me that it doesn't work. I'm guessing that a lack of use means it's seized and I picked up a cheap replacement at the weekend so I thought I'd have a go at swapping it over.
I'll let you know how many knuckles I loose!

Same here [
It could just be a dodgy electrical connection. My windscreen pump sometimes doesn't work, give the wires a wiggle & it starts working again (I think the loom catches on the headlight A bar on mine - I hardly ever drive it at night). btw if you pop up the lights & look directly behind the driver's side one (ie straight down) the pump at the front is for the windscreen, the one on the side (nearest the engine) is the headlamp pump. That's what I've deduced from wiggling wires at least [8D]
My windscreen pump sits ontop and to the front of the main bottle and locates on 2 plastic lugs.
I can't see the headlight washer pump anywhere. The only thing I can see is right at the bottom and maybe just the top of the pump. It is almost directly below the headlight motor and coil.
If this is the pump then it looks a right b*******d to get to. Do you know if it is possible to get the main bottle out without disturbing the coil or headlight motor?
Btw I'm looking at an '86 turbo.
And, I only scraped 2 knuckles looking
