Head unit/cd player

I have a Kenwood "Mask" CD player which I bought new about 14 years ago. choice of different shades of display colour excellent unit, but these days it is always in the "Mask" mode, that is to say flipped over so looks like a radio blank.

Can't remember the last time I listened to tunes in the '44

Craig,

Making DAB aerials is very easy and I made one for pennies from an old bit of TV co-ax cable and some connectors of the right type. It runs behind the glovebox and the working bit is in the passenger side A-pillar. It picks up all the multiplexes you'd ever need (and several more) and reception has yet to drop out on me in the UK.

Here's a piccie of the radio:

... and of the jack input socket I made in the arm rest. (The knurled bit is a plug which is plugged into the pocket, and you can see the TRRS plug on the end of the wire, designed to go into a mobile 'phone.)

I had one of these in my Saab which has now gone so I am currently selling it on eBay, its been a fantastic unit and I would have no hesitation selling it to you and could bring it on Sunday. Of course its up to personal taste what you think it looks like but the screen can be set to over 4,000 colours so you will definitely get a match. Here is the link to my blurb on eBay:

Thanks Joss - looks great but I think I'm going to make do with my Sony for now. I've managed to black out the light that was way too bright. Looks like you have a few bidders too.

See you Sunday!
