I'm moving to France. Do I have to change the headlights on my 718 Cayman with LED bulbs. Thanks

Don’t blame you! Anyway, in 981 handbook it discusses clearly so can’t believe latest version doesn’t do same? If moving permanently, surely left hook better option? You’ll have to register your car over there anyway after a certain amount of time (Google it). If desperate to keep yours and car is unable to be adjusted either manually or by auto settings, a set of used EU lamps would suffice. Double check you car menu options. Some are at the end of initial first level titles. You have to go digging down the menus.

Many thanks. No problem driving RHD in France. I can export from UK when I move without having to pay huge taxes. Porsches are much more expensive in France. Will try and find relevant info. Thanks again. Beatty

Worth checking your handbook. LED headlights on our 2020 MINI have a flat beam pattern and don't need converters, according to the handbook.

My car has PDSL+ LEDs and when driving abroad I switch the headlight pattern to right hand drive via the menu option. Worth checking if yours allows the same? If not then I also believe that the standard headlamp alignment is OK to use abroad as it emits a "flat" pattern beam.

Depending on the build year, the option to swap from LH to RH was removed due to the chip shortage. I believe Porsche adopted a flat beam to alleviate the problem.
