Haynes manuals

there are many books you may want to buy on the 912 register website. Many are available from club shop[;)]
There are better/more specific 912 books available than the Haynes one imho.
Try the Lovell one for tech stuff and the Spencer one for a good alrounder. The late Harry Pellow books are superb but all out of print.

Depending on what needs doing, it may be worth buying the factory manuals (the 912 is a supplement to the early 911). I would second Gavin' s thoughts re the Lovell and Maestro books - much clearer than the Haynes one.

Miggs - I would suggest you get hold of a copy of ' V Mean Ish Ish' by messrs Bullock and Wudu.

A very interesting read and full of in depth analysis on why number 3 cylinder should be treated with the upmost of caution!

See you Sunday

PS - anyone else going to Aircool 2003 - myself and Miggs will be and taking in KK on a detour home.
