Harewood House Fathers Day Show

Looking at the forthcoming events at Harewood, it looks like after 4 years of absence, it is returning in June for The Fathers Day Show. I'm just wondering if the Yorkshire Region, has any plans to visit this event as a block.
IMO, it was a decent show, with many different classic vehicles, and events. If enough interest is generated, could it be possible to negotiate a discount for the Region, to attend.
Has anybody an interest in attending?

Speaking with Mark. He informed me that there is a show at Castle Howard, on the same day. Looking at the itinerary it would appear a far better one, with many more car clubs. And being a true Yorkshireman, it is cheaper. So I think that would be the place to visit. I will certainly be there.

Did the Castle Howard show 2 years ago it was a good day out. Admission if you book you car on display is £4.50 inc 2 people. Entrance to gardens inc but admission to house extra I believe. Discount tickets need booking before June 7th, cars need to be on site by 11-00 am. There was a big queue when we went. Quite a lot of stands etc to look @.
 
Hi I am a club member, was wondering if the club would be attending the car show at Castle Howard in June? or will the club be attending Harewood as unfortunately they are both on the same day :(

We are planning on going to Castle Howard, I will speak with the event organisers about a Porsche display area on Monday.

Further to my earlier message I have been in touch with the Classic Shows team who would be delighted to have members from the Porsche club GB taking part in the event.

Discounted tickets are available on line and by telephone, I was advised we should try and book by the end of May although the actual cut off is the 7th June. Val and I will be there and would welcome some company.
