Myself and a friend (997S) may be going for a blast on either the monday or the tuesday after Xmas in the morning IF: the weather's half decent and we're not too hungover.....if that works for you potentially let me know.
We're based wolverhampton / bridgnorth way and we're planning a trip out towards wales, sort of clee hills, and as near to the coast as we can get in the time allowed by our respect War Minitry's (copyright Vic Cohen) ;-)
If you can't make that I'm sure there will be other opportunities.
ACWATS....if you get this...or anyone else for that matter feel free to chip in.
Also we in the Badger Set (read 964RS Forum) were contemplating a weekend trip to South Wales for a valleys raid....I thinkj its still on the cards so keep an eye open. JR I won't hold the GT3 against you ....honestly![]
I'm in Hopwood , ( between Brum and Redditch ) and always interested in a run .ORIGINAL: jaytay3
North worcestershire meet anyone?
Cheers
jr
Wales is good !
Unfortunately , or rather , fortunately []i can't make the days suggested as i'll be in Lanzarote for the week , so it'll have to be another time

My original thinking was to head out west starting around 0900 and aiming to return no later than 1400.
Mike and I are Bridgnorth and Wolverhampton and on an assumption that we head out towards the twisty bumpy's in Wales in a sort of coast type direction we could meet somewhere like Much Wenlock, Morville etc etc.
So if between now and Friday any of us interested can agree a basic start time (most important) and broad start location we can on Sunday evening check the forum with clearer view on the weather and make firm plans?
What say y'all?
Plus in the back of my mind I was wondering if we couldn't put some type of regularity / treasure hunt challenge into the mix? dunno maybe next time? Depends on what everyones perception of a meet/run is and I guess that comes down to polishers vs sportsters? For me I'd like to get as many people involved initially and work from there?
Was anyone previously involved with Region activities prior to the departure of the RO who can give us some perspective on the region members appetite for activity and type of?

Hagley et all.. how I know those roads well.... when everyone else that I know are up/down Broad street.. I'm cruising down to my 'start' point from 'California' (!) up to the A456 / Hagley Road from Bearwood down past the M5 jct, past the Audi dealer then all the way down to the Ferrari dealer (who has enough Porsche's there as well....) and back....
great roads... indeed
hopefully catch you all up there next year.. []

Suggest about 10.15 on the bypass at the top of townORIGINAL: Ian Cairns
As I'm coming from the north I suppose somewhere round Bridgenorth is a good place to meet. Can you suggest somewhere and a time

For those coming from the north, i.e. there is a place just south of Bridgnorth on the A449 where the bikers meet (used to be one) opposite the Little Chef at Quatford.
It'll be easy to tag onto a convoy from Kidderminster there
What do you think??
Estimated 09:30 - 10:00
Andrew (with bumper now back on)
