They are on drugs... finest quality 964RS - it's addictive, you should try some Paul.

It is common knowledge that repaired cars are worth considerably more with their new parts over the tired old originals.

I thought everyone knew that[;)][;)][;)]

A complete new shell was fitted in 1999 by a motosport company --- since when the car has done only a very small mileage, though it has remained with the same owner.

An engine and gearbox rebuild with new clutch at the time, is said to be supported with invoices.

So, it seems to be a one owner car since 1992/3 and 3000Km, with a shell that should be pristine, but with a trackday car paint job ?

It's all down to the quality of the rebuild and it's a lovely colour.

Now that original ones are possibly showing the wear of their years, would a repair job such as this make it worth less, or more ?

As an aside, the Rubystone car at Gmund is showing over 180,000 Km and it does need a little tidying, But you can't take anything away from the impeccable original build and engineering quality of these addictive machines !

(For me the Clusport is maybe too close to the lightweight and not terribly scarce --- but I still fancy one and wonder about switching from the loghtweight. That painted interior looks so cool !))
