H&S Exhaust

I'm thinking of buying a new exhaust (rear box only) from H&S for my late 944t.

Thought I'd ask if there is sufficient interest here for a group buy?

If there is, but timing isn't right, I would consider delaying for a few months.

BTW - is there anyone in/around NW London with a H&S exhaust?

Would probably like a full H&S system if push came to shove.About 8 ton for a late turbo i think. Would be interested in group buy full system if enough takers?

Id love to have a H&S system but A. I cannot afford it right now and B. I do not like their stock design, im looking for something a little different.

I've been looking at the H&S system for while, so count me in.

My tail pipe is held on with a Julbile clip [:'(]

Anyone got any photos of one fitted?

Mr Simkins turbo has one on it. It is not bad but hangs quite low so needed a small repair due to cracking around the wastegate pipe. Nice big bore and not too noisy.

As requested, here you go a couple of pics

Zeroexhausts quoted a similar price to the H&S system, his work appears to be very well regarded and looks top notch too, he does need the car to work to though, but perhaps worth a call to find out if he could give a price on a batch.

The sound is just right..... Even the neighbours like it. [:D]

Assuming there is sufficient interest, I'll ask them if they would build the exhausts as per everyone's individual preferences.

So far the list is as follows:

Confirmed - back box only
Jabriel - Back box only - April - if not enough interest in a group buy. Otherwise happy to wait until May/June/July
Homesea - Back box only - Timing preference?

Confirmed - full system
Stuart - full system - Timing preference?

Maybe:
944Scott - depends on timing

This list is obviously dependant on the price but we will need bigger numbers to get a worthwhile discount. Have added the original post on TIPEC and Pistonheads.

Oi you make me sound like a right skin flint lol

Its not the price as such as im guessing I will have to pay around £800 (thats what the we put on the wife's car cost). Timing is more the issue, funds are being diverted elsewhere and the exhaust is a little way down the list.

Lol, that wasn't the intension 944scott. I've edited the comment to reflect your position better.

When would it suit you if it is going to be possible?

Spoke with Ian, the Manager at H&S this afternoon.

The normal price is £300 (back box) or £650 (full system) + VAT.

They can discount the prices by £25 and £50 respectively. Lead times are currently (approximately) 6 weeks.

All units are hand crafted so based on current numbers it may not be possible to get a bigger discount.

Ian is aware of this thread and will reply to any queries you may have.
