I think under thd grime its a cream colour, someone replaced my old cracked cream leather seats with some quite nasry vynil ones too.
Have you got a lovely 'bargain priced ' interior then ?
Mas
No. Was interested what combo you had. Certainly I have remnants of a burgundy interior and would have been happy to give you FOC any bits that you needed. Well, posting costs excepted!

To be fair my village garage mechanic charges 50 pounds an hour all in and is straight as a die, if its a 3 hour job thats what he charges you
It's funny, I've banged on for years that this is a false economy; the £50 per hour bloke who doesn't know the cars inside out should end up much dearer than the £65 per hour expert who flies through the job. Given that so many specialists are going for menu pricing I'm not sure this is true so much now. I really am torn about going to a local "engineer"-type mechanic next time and using the fact that I can tell him much of what to do, even if I can't do it myself, and get parts easily enough. [8|]

However i just had front springs fitted on another car. Now this type of job is tricky without decent tools and a ramp but hardly needs the likes of pro max or rpm does it ?
The local chap likes 944's is no fool and would charge me the same number of hours as a specialist. If he says 2.75 hours for front springs thats what hell charge. Why would i pay 100 pounds an hour (80 plus vat) for the same job ?. As for taking twice as long a it wouldnt and b i dont care if im quoted a fixed price. Im sorry but many garages not just specialists are just getting too dear.
Look what some specialists charge to fit pagid pads ! , Im glad i do my minor work myself these days. Whilst ive been without a 944 ive had some training
Not picking on one specialist and yes i appreciate their expertise but eg
Rpm front pads £168 fitted or buy them for 50 and fit them at mine over tea and cake ??? 118 to fit them is double what a local mechanic charges and even i have the skills to do it

I compared this three years used and nineteen years stored Linen part with a set of Grey Beige leather Turbo seats which I have and I couldnt really tell the difference! The difference between the colours used to be substantial, but in many cases now its very difficult to distinguish, if not impossible.
Your car will have black and Grey Beige, but a set of linen seats will probably match now.
