GT4 tyre pressure sensors question

I've ordered a second set of porsche GT4 wheels to run PS4S tyres on wet track days.

It is my intention to also order a second set of tyre pressure monitors, am I correct in thinking on the 718 new Huf sensors don't require any coding & are automatically recognised by the car after 15 to 20 minutes of driving?

Use Alloywheels Direct email sales@alloywheelsdirect.com

You give them your car’s VIN# and they send you pre-programmed sensors without the need to drive and hope they connect. I bought a new set from Design911 which failed to connect and then bought the same model TPMS from Alloywheels Direct for spare wheels on my old 718 GT4 and they were recognised and connected straight away. Cheaper too..

Huf sensors, if you buy the correct ones, connect just fine. I have them on my second set of wheels. I got them from AutoDoc a few years back. From an old post of mine on here:

The Huf sensors are labelled "IntelliSens RDE" and you can see which part number you need by using the search here: http://www.products.intellisens.com/ For different colour options you'll need the product catalogue from here: https://www.intellisens.com/downloads/ The silver version for 718s is "RDE047V21" but I needed the black version which is part number "RDE047V26", and they were only £40 from Autodoc: https://www.autodoc.co.uk/huf/14501114

I hear you. 6yr service, warranty extension and discs/pads all round for me this month

See you at Cadwell Park next month?
