I' ve heard there is a GT3 Trackday at Goodwood on 14/4/03, is it still on?

Are club members welcome to come and watch?

Hi Julian

This is an excerpt from an e-mail from Gary Bullen, GT3 Reg Sec.:

" For anyone who is interested we are hoping that Geoff Turral from the Porsche GB marketing dept at Reading will hopefully be joining us at Goodwood on 14th April. He tells us that he will keep a space free in his diary and unless forced to go elsewhere will do his best to catch up with all the GT3 guys to talk about the GT3 2003 and possibly the GT3R road burner!

Also PSI from Belgium will be bringing a car and have agreed to pay for a track time slot to give people the chance to see what 3.8 litres and 430bhp feels like. They may also bring along another car but doubt that it would pass the noise limit. Doesn' t seem to bother Richard though and he is bringing his GT3/F16/R with a zillion decibels.

911 & Porsche World and GT Purely Porsche magazine have been made aware of what we are doing and may attend. As have Circuit Driver .com.

This is in addition to the others already looking to attend.

So even if you are not driving there should be enough to keep you amused.

[:D] JULIAN The GT3 register track day at GOODWOOD was a resounding success. So it will happen again. Possibly August or September 2003 depending on whether we get sufficient numbers who are prepared to commit to the day. Watch out for details in Porsche Post and on this forum.
Happy motoring in the meantime.
Regards
GARY BULLEN
