Hi All,

Would anyone be interested in these? I started to make some for mine but then got very busy. However, I plan to finish them over christmas

I have designed all the pulleys on the cad , and have started making some of them .... this is what I have done so far

If we can get ten buyers interested

Adjustable cam pulley. £65 each

Small timing pulleys £40 each

Crank tooth / vee pulley combo £70 each

All pulleys would be anodized guys :)

What's the advantage? Lower radial inertia - yes, but I'd guess that the radial inertia exerted by pulleys like that is trivial compared with that of the flywheel, clutch, crankshaft and so on.

Oli.

Adding a trigger on the crank pulley will open up a new market, as 944s use a flywheel trigger that isnt compatible with modern ECUs.

ORIGINAL: 944 man

Or bolt holes on the power steering v pulley to allow for a trigger wheel at a later date.

Worth noting that the 16 valve cars have a different size crank and cam pulley to the 8 valve cars.

Depends what ECU you are using. For example Finnish made Tatech supports 944 8V engines triggering. All 16V 944 models have 60-2 flywheel triggering

I'm in Chris [:)] -
will you be doing a Power Steering pulley also?

If I'm not mistaken you've not listed a price for the Balance Shaft gears.

If you guys have any doubt that Chris knows what he's doing then check out his stuff for other marques here: www.cdfracing.co.uk

Hi guys

Sorry for the delay, will try and answer some questions

The advantages of lightweight pulleys is the rotating mass that will be saved. The veriner pulleys we allow you to fine tune your engine. I have done these at a very good price as I already have 5 made up.

I don't know the weights yet buy I would say at least a third of the stock pulleys.

We can anodised these any colour, but I would recommend if it is a tooth pulley to have them hard anodised which only comes in a dark grey colour.

Yes we will be doing the powersteering pulley, I just haven't taken it off my car yet. I will be converting the vee pulleys to the more modern multi eve belts . You will still be able to use the standard size belt.

Trigger wheels are not a problem for us to make, we make these for our ford pulleys , they are not on our site as our ford pulleys go through a dealer but you can see them here www.motorsport-developments.co.uk . We do a couple different types for them like a 36-1 or a 4 lug wheel .
Just let me know the best way to do it

Balance gears, I haven't got that far into my engine tbh... If you want them I would need to see if we can cut them as some gears can be pretty tough

Will be around to answer any questions for a few hours tonight .

Search me on Facebook to see my project on the 944 with all the cad images

Cheers
