Hi folks,

I'm a recent new member - so just saying hi. I took the plunge and bought a 991.1 C2S (white, with Sport Design kit) from Nottingham OPC fairly recently and have yet to engage with the local group. I will do so soon.

The 991 is a somewhat different animal to my other car (race prepared and successful MkIV AC Cobra with 480bhp in 950kg...). I suppose "scalpel vs ever so slightly slightly sharpened sledgehammer" could be the analogy. Both are fantastic however and I'm enjoying every (rare) minute in the newer car.

Anyway, my question.... Are there any written (or unwritten) rules about the position of the PCGB and R21 window stickers? I'm presuming rear window, drivers side - but would hate to get it wrong... ! Any sage advice welcome!!

Looking forward to meeting you all at some future point soon.

Andy

Hi Andy

Logic says NS of front screen out of drivers eye line, or NS rear side window are favourite but just use common sense! No particular rules other than any dictats within RT law. Watch out if going abroad. ( All assuming rhd)

Great stuff and sage advice - thx 👍🏻

I had an MoT failure on a previous car for displaying a club sticker where the VED disc used to go
  • Nearside Driver's view of the road through the swept area of the windscreen materially affected by an obstruction (3.1 (a) (ii))
I think the tester was having a bad day... he told me only "regulatory" stickers can go there..
