greddy profec

I have bought the promax 1.2 bar chips which seem to be suitable for running bigger injectors up to 1.2 bar. Hopefully the car will be a bit quicker when I have this with a tial dpw aswell.

It will be a LOT quicker but more importantly with less lag and a smoother delivery [:)]

You wont be disappointed. I got Promax 1bar chips and noticed a significant improvement all through the rev range. My chips have maps for 55lb and 68lb Delphi injectors (don't know if they can be used with other brands of the same flow rate) selectable via the FQS switch so I guess yours will be the same.

I have the 1 bar Promax chip on my standard (ish) turbo and it goes really well on the road, healthy dyno figures too.

I've had both the Profec B and the Apexi. Both are fiddly to a certain extent. The Apexi has quite a lot more features but I found both tend to give wandering boost levels and seem temperamental. I've gone back to basics with an MBC and I have to say that it's way better in a no fuss sense. I just wind it up to the level I want and set and forget. It hits the same boost each and every time. 100%. I am well aware that it doesn't offer the same level of features that the Apexi did, but I don't want them. I just want to forget about the boost controller. Mine is set to 1.5bar and never misses a beat.

1.2bar on stock injectors will be getting close to their max duty cycle but there are plenty of chips about that use stock inj to about 16psi.

What sort of air fule gauges are you gi=uys using. I had a splitfire on in my old 924 turbo and it was s***.
Are there any kinds that can use our existing lambda sensor?
Cheers

I use a VEMS wideband controller with bosche wideband sensor.
It has inputs for RPM, EGT, intake temperature and manifold pressure. So you could datalog exactly when you are too lean.
