Just collected this bad boy from Exeter PC.
Not one to my personal spec but my last chance to grab the last of the petrol versions before supplies dry up. At 6 years old, my trusty Night Blue Macan GTS was due for a service, warranty renewal, new boots, MOT and VED so I thought the time had come for a change.
I'm trying to acclimatise to the Crayon colour - still a bit unsure about it myself and a friend, who spotted it on the road, asking when to top coat was going on, hasn't helped much.
But most of my family seem to like it - and it's modern and conspicuous!

21" Spyder wheels with P Zero boots
14 way comfort seats

Options missing from my previous car are keyless entry, Homelink, ventilated seats, Ioniser, spare wheel, 75 litre tank and under-seat storage bins.
Most of these I can do without, but I am particularly missing keyless entry and Homelink. So far I've left the car with key still in the ignition several times - but I'll learn. The lack of Homelink is a problem I'm currently addressing since I really need to operate my gates and garage doors from within the car and wish to avoid individual remotes rattling around inside the cabin. It's not something that can be retrofitted according to my PC, so I hope to resolve it via an alternative route and I'll report back in due course.
Air suspension takes a little getting used to, but I'm fond of the the extra grunt from the engine - 440bhp from 370 is a significant uplift. 21" wheels on steel springs would be quite harsh I suspect, but on air they're fine and look impressive too. The jury's out on the brakes. Yes, I've already tested them. On the way home from collection, somebody backed out, blocking my road over a blind crest. The brakes stopped me OK, but lack a bit of feel and bite. I'm hoping they improve once bedded in.
Every new car is a journey of adventure and if I have as much fun and enjoy as much super reliability as I had with the last one, I shall be well pleased.
