Don' t know if this is the right forum to do this in, but I' d thought I' d share with you all a deal I just got with French Motorail. Basically, I' m taking my 912 down to the South of France in August and came across Motorail doing an offer whereby you get the return journey for free - and they' re not having you on. Just booked a return trip to Nice for £501! That includes ferry crossings to Calais and sleeper train down to Nice (you Porsche travels with you on the train) based on two travelling. Deal' s on for a few more weeks.

A bit tight on money at the mO but wow sounds like a great thing to do ... i know of it can you post the web site for it.

may be in the Future we could do it as a 912 event an expensive one but hey once in a life time I know Nice very well and the times I have driven there and thought I wish i had the 12..

good idea there mark perhaps we could do something like this next year

Get a load of us would be a good laugh

what do u reckon??

Sounds good... when we went to Ypres the other year, we did the whole day for £45 including ferry etc. Just one day though but cheap as chips. Depends how much people want to spend? The main expense variable is the time of year i.e. Summer = ££££, so maybe a spring run? I guess would be even cheaper.

Any other suggestions for destinations?
Should we set a budget?

If there is enough interest I will start organising!
