Can anyone recommend a quality specialist for my 944 in the Peterborough area? Am new to the 944, club and area so would welcome any advice.
Thanks in advance
Peter
I haven't used TWG but them been over for a chat, they seemed very friendly. I think I would certainly give them a go rather than mucking about travelling further afield, at least to start with.

We should have a Peterborough area get together. Don't in the area myself any more, grew up in Sawtry, but my parents do, in fact I spotted a 944 parked up in a drive near Itter Park last time I was home.

I think they call that meeting Region 24 Cambs and Beds Mark - all welcome to join us at club nights beside the Great Ouse see

Always on the second Wednesday of each month - other events for our region also see Porsche Post.
Thanks very much for the comments and recommendations, will probably try TWG. Although at the moment I have a slight starting issue which I am beginning to suspect is an alarm/immobiliser problem. The plan for this is to get an auto electrician who has been recommended to me, to sort out - will let you know how I get on.
Pics I will have to get organised, but for the record the car is a standard red S2 convertible on a G plate.
Currently I am in Perterborough but will soon be moving round the corner to Stilton, so maybe difficult convincing wife to do Lasagne at least for the next couple of months. "new" house is in a real state, but happy to meet up for a shandy if anyone is up for it?
Will also try and get to the meets but said wife is often away with work mid-week so not always easy.

I have used TWG for the past 3 years and on the whole they have been very good, but the last time they felt a little uninterested.
Dove House is owned by a mate of mine and he poached 2 master techs from Silverstone when he started the service side of the business last year, so I might try them
We are about to move to the West of Huntingdon and I had a little look around at what dealerships were out there and found this one near Thrapston!

They seem to know their Porsches (and Range Rovers) too

Also Auto 2000 at Bedford worth consideration.
Good shout, I can recommend them also. Really nice people. Reasonable rates too.
